Work with us · Ballarat

More than a trainer. More than a support worker.

Circle Square coaches are qualified personal trainers and experienced disability support workers, helping people across Ballarat get stronger, more confident and more independent. Bring one skill set and we'll train you in the other, or grow both with us.

(01)Why Circle Square

We are an all-abilities movement hub. We coach, we adapt, and we stick with people, session after session, as they build strength, confidence and a bit more independence.

This is purpose-led work with a real team behind you, not a roster of shifts. We hold a standard we are proud of, we back each other, and we care as much about how someone feels leaving a session as the numbers on the whiteboard.

(02)The role

Two jobs,
one person.

You run one-to-one and small-group sessions with NDIS participants, in the gym and out in the community. You are the trainer and the trusted person in the room: the one who knows how to adapt the session, when to push, and when to ease off.

No two days look the same. A session is real training, and it is also real support, delivered by the same person the participant already knows and trusts.

  • Coach the session. Program and lead 1:1 and group training that meets each participant where they are that day.
  • Adapt on the spot. Read the room, adjust the plan, and keep movement safe, doable and worth turning up for.
  • Support the person. Build the relationship, communicate with families and coordinators, and track simple progress everyone can see.
(03)What you get

We invest
in you.

  • Genuine growth and mentoring. Learn the side of the craft you do not have yet, from people who do it every day, and keep getting better at the side you do.
  • A structured path, not the keys and good luck. A real onboarding journey: induction, then shadowing experienced coaches, then going solo once you and we are ready.
  • A team that backs you. You are never alone with a hard session. There is always someone to call, debrief with, and lean on.
  • Work that matters. You will finish most days knowing you helped someone move, feel and live a little better.
(04)Who we're after

You bring one side of the craft, and you are genuinely up for being trained in the other. The rest is who you are.

  • A Cert III or IV in fitness, or an exercise physiology or allied-health background, and open to learning disability support.
  • Or solid disability-support experience, and keen to build real coaching and programming skill.
  • Willing to be trained in the side you do not have yet, and to keep learning once you are in.
  • Patient, adaptable, and genuinely into people. You meet someone where they are and make them feel at ease.
